Once again, thanks for sending me off! even if when im only gone for 6 weeks. hahas
I was really tired on the plane, but i just couldnt fall asleep. It's like my eyes are closed but my pea brain is wide awake, cos I damn hungry (the plane crew served breakfast only at 4 am!!!) And when im finally drifting off to sleep, they switched on the lights and began serving breakfast -_- rah!
So when I've finally touched down on Seoul after 6 long torturous hours on the plane, I feel so exhuasted. But luckily, the cooling weather makes me feel so much better! My brother warned me earlier that the weather will be very hot cos it's summer over here now. But no! It feels like genting over here, just that it's not that chilly, which is even better! It's slightly hotter only in the afternoon, but a little sun does no harm, hahas, i love vitamin D.
Cos' our luggage is damn heavy, we decided to take a jumbo taxi to our dorm, and this burns a big hole in our pocket, or purse, or wallet or whatever! it's like 90 sing dollars to get to our dorm!! and i think they're energy-saving folks, so there's like no air-con in the cab and it's seriously stuffy. The road to our dorm was terrible cos there were tons of erratic slopes so the driver had to make several sharp turns which makes me feel so nauseous. Luckily i didnt puke, it would have been so gross. hahas
I accompanied esther to check in to the cj-i room and here's a picture of the scenary outside her room.
Her room-mate was there already and she brought me the bad news. Her friend happened to be kicked to anam hall too, and she said the room condition was terrible. It was dirty and ancient, and there wasnt any lift or elevator around, so she had to carry her gigantic luggage up to 5th floor herself. Urgh, that sounds really bad, but im sort of mentally prepared so it didnt freak me out.After esther settled down, she accompanied me to check in to the anam hall. The security guard didnt understand english at all and i had to make all sorts of hand actions to tell him that i want to check in. He gave me the keys, and directed me to this long flight of stairs. zzz! So yes, I carried my 14.4 kg luggage (luckily i didnt bring much stuffs, other girls' luggage was like 25 kg!) up the stairs. I feel so much stronger! hahas, girl power!!
Okays, as I was opening the door to the dorm, lots of frightening thoughts flooded my mind. Will I be greeted with cockroaches and lizards, and their beloved shits? Will the air-con be faulty and I'll just suffocate to death in my room? Will....?!
hahas, actually i wasnt thinking at all, was just trying to be drama earlier (though i think it failed, hahas, my english sucks). The only thought i have was that im damn tired, and i want to lie on the bed and nua the whole day long. hahas!
Okayys, the room wasnt that bad as what esther's room-mate had mentioned. In fact, it's much more spacious that the cj-i house and yes the air-con was working well, there werent any cockroaches and lizards sprawling around. I shall post a picture of the room, and me and my room-mate in the next entry. My room-mate is super nice! hahas, i think we clicked off pretty well! and she's the xian qi liang mu kind, which is good cos im a super spoilt brat who refused to do any housework. hahas
I didnt nua in my room though im freaking tired, cos esther's room-mate suggested for her to join her friends in touring seoul right away. well, it's kinda dumb to slack in the room so yes, off we go to explore Seoul!
Esther's room-mate and friends are super pro! They had arrived earlier than us by just a few days but they could communicate with the koreans and they were leading us in the train station. hahas, i think the 4 of us (me, peh, shaoming and jonathan) are pretty exhausted after the flight, so we were like following them blindly.
First stop! DaeJangGeum Theme Park! It's a place that showed all the scenes in Da Chang Jin! I used to be a major fan of Da Chang Jin, so im pretty excited! Pictures pictures pictures!

okayys, we wanted jonathan to have to same pose as the chio girl, but i think it's a failed attempt
okayys, here's the more exciting part! Just 7 sing dollars and we can choose any old korean costumes to wear, and take pictures everywhere! fun!!! hahas, but it's super thick, and we're like sweating all over. Plus for the female clothes, they're kinda long, so peh and i have to walk carefully. At first we tried to be demure, like walk slowly and carefully. after that we gave up and just pull the skirts and walk around. so ya, it's like the jeans underneath the long skirts. super unglam. hahas!
